Re: Back protector?
I use a stowaway. I'm thankful to say that I've never tested it though. :D It is however very comfortable and light. I'd say not to worry about the 'foldable' thing affecting the level of protection. It's simply flexible between the panels of armour and so rolls up. It's certainly not flimsy or anyt...

Re: Just got pulled :(
Delvey91, could you let me know more about the exhaust/noise issue: 1. What revs did they make you rev it to, to take a reading? 2. Were you riding the 250 in your Avatar? 3. And what db did they do you for? 3. What did they say was the legal db limit? And out of interest how high were your illegal...

But feel free to send me your CV as we do have those positions coming up from time to time. PM me for my email address. On a serious note though.....

Re: Exeter Pub Meet - Wednesday 22nd April
I missed the last one due to tonsillitis. I'm being more careful about what I put down my throat now, so should be good for this one.

Re: Feed the Troll
Check out my real biker thread, now on nine pages :D People always respond in that way when you hit a nerve. You see, that's what I don't quite understand. Why would you want to hit a nerve? SWB is brilliant for insight, advice, and friendly banter. Not arguing. No good comes from 'hitting nerves'....

Re: Another biker downed in Plymouth
Jeez. This stuff has me laughing out loud. How about this... A male driver of a blue 4x4, aged between 30 and 40 years and of average driving experience is about to emerge in an easterly direction from a minor road onto a major road, and a female driver of a white Nissan Micra (with climate pa...

Re: stubby exhausts
Thanks for the tips you guys. :D My cans are a little scruffy at the 'in' end. Just a few light scuffs. Chopping off that bit might tidy things up a bit. I hadn't really thought about doing that before reading this thread. I guess the ally on the end is glued on? There's no rivets. How to get ...

Re: stubby exhausts
Can I do that with my Renegade carbons? That is, is it easy to cut carbon? I'm clueless on this. I'm imagining me in a tangled mess of loose carbon fibres and no cans...Cheese Monkey wrote:I will give you a hand chopping yours down if you want to do it the proper way hehe, done one before.
