The problem is finding somewhere to park the van. I'm using my Vito as a camper van but I can't get an answer out of Braddan Bridge Campsite over whether they'll allow me to do so. Most places want me to pitch a tent instead. Pennybridge Campsite at Kirk Michael are happy for me to use the van, and ...

*Admittedly this is easier if you have somewhere else to keep the bike, and have time to ride it. Such as working 80-odd miles from home and staying over where you work a lot.

It's looking doubtful for me - I start work at 0920 in Exeter and don't finish until gone 1800. Got a few people left to try and swap with though.

I did my DAS on a Versys 650, I loved riding it. Got more than enough 'go' to be entertaining and very comfortable. Bear in mind that when you're sat on it, you don't have to look at it....

Nowt wrong with a good 125 - I find my Vara an excellent alternative to the Triumph for fun days on B-roads.
