Re: Who wants a free exhaust!

Sorry my mistake for posting a link to the wrong bike, it looks like Holeshot no longer market a system for the first generation Fazer Thou, and Black Widow have also stopped listing theirs. I don't know if this is down to the bike being out of production for a while but it could be a good marketing...

Re: Who wants a free exhaust!

@Ruffian I don't suppose you're interested in doing a full system for a FZS1000 removing the EXUP? Mine is in full working order but didn't know if you'd want to see if you could get something that works well. I think Black Widow used to do one but it wasn't received very well by owners. There's a g...

Re: Why did he drop it??

To me it looks like he saw the cops and his reactions were to move his left leg to cover the rear brake to slow down, because he was banked over his foot caught the ground on the way to the brake causing the front to loose traction. Pretty much what the rider said happened apart for the cops bit :-)

Re: Failed the MOT - Number plate light

Have you modified your bike with an aftermarket light or is this going to affect a lot of OEM rear lights?

Autoaid. About £48 last time I looked. Recovery after breakdown or accident. They Use SOS motorcycle recovery. Generally nothing to pay when you’re recovered now as they deal direct +1 Got a deal - £48 for 16 months, that covers both mine & the Mrs cars plus all our bikes are also. I have used ...

Re: Going up Porlock hill two up

The gsxr solo is straightforward up there btw so there's something in the fjr being a lump. I have seen a BMW rt(?)1600 two up doing porlock hill and I must say I was impressed. Having gone through the obvious I'd be looking at the suspension setup as it could be the steering geometry is off causin...

Re: Going up Porlock hill two up

Hi All. I'm fine going down Porlock hill on my fjr 2 up. However I only just made it around uphill solo. Going up hill I went to the middle of the road just before turning in but I still ended up on the other side and it was too uncomfortable for me. Wtf am I doing wrong? Taking it too fast? The tr...
