Its got to be one of the ugliest bikes i have ever seen and well what they have done with the exhaust is just ruined its image. That 4 pipe job thing they had going on, now has been squashed into a flat can't think of the name of it at mo but you know what i mean when you see it in the flesh :?

I built one fresh out the crate the other week. I like it. They have this whole theme going on with it, even on the calipers. It seems to shout 'get on me and wheelie me dam it' at you.

If it's a bit much then check out the 750, it's not so ummm radical, but nice none the less.

The old Z1000 looked a fun bike to ride and it was, and the one before but this one has bolt on bits here and there, like those plastic bits mounted just below the tank against the side of the radiator. WHY :?:

Just looks tacky and cheap. The old exhaust is what sold it really but this thing really is odd. It looks like ( i remember now) The car vacum cleaner you can use at the local garage.

Not knocking its ridabillity or performance but the looks are

Sorry

its called euro3 legislation i think blimey, they have to be that big now to pass all the noise and emissions test but must agree it does look fugly in the flesh. the old z1000 looked mean with those twin shotgun style pipes. its the same with the ktm690smoto, looks nice, really angled pipes but sounds worse than my civic diesel
