XBOX 360 - anyone else as sad as me?

gotta say I think that the PS3 is stupidly priced - I agree that it has only just come out and so games will improve though, that should happen at the time of the price drop - a good thing.

On COD3 though, it was crap! Thought that COD2 was amazing though.

Yeah it is high price and i think that is the main thing that puts people off. But if you want quality and features then you have to expect it really.

I dont know why everyone bangs on about blue-ray, its hardly an incentive and its only one medium being used, so in 5 years you might find nothing supports blue ray. Its like VHS, everyone only knows videos on those, no one remembers beta-max tapes despite being better quality simply because they got out marketed.

Basically Sony is one of the few elite who actually run a company with worse customer concern than Microsoft. I would say the 360 is easily better and a side cheaper too!

I odn't have a premium console but I do have a console, 2 controllers (1 wired 1 wireless), quick charge pack, two batteries, plug and play kit, wireless headset, headset, dvd controller, wireless internet connector and 4 games (Tiger Woods, Gears of War, Shadowrn, Rainbow 6 Vegas), Component Cable for £399. Xbox boxed. No Hard Drive as I will buy a new one after the summer and want to keep my data.

Also if you are interested you will have to wait a couple of weeks as I have a league commitment with Rainbow 6 (the best game in the world) to fulfill.

well the same can be said for blueray and hd-dvd. 7 out of the 8 major film companies are using blueray so it cant just sony that sees the potntial. Plus blueray is outselling hd-dvd 3-1 so the marketing side must be favouring blueray.

well it is cheaper but they are hardly the same spec are they? To match them you would have to buy the hd-dvd drive, wirless adapter, another 2 hard drives which would all amount to well over £600. 360 is a good console im not denying that, i had one. All im saying is that the 360 has peaked, the ps3 is far superiour and is a lot more future proof. I agree that there is not alot of difference in games or graphics at the mo but 360 is nearly 2 years old and ps3 only a few months old . So if the ps3s launch titles are the same as current 360 games what the hell are they gonna be like when developers have more time and knowledge about the hardware?
