Hey girls, I wanted to put a suggestion out there for meeting. I know it's not far but it seems we all like a slower pace etc whether anyone would fancy taking a ride out to the Fishermans Cot at Bickleigh? I know it's not a great distance away but seems the road through crediton etc isn't bad, could get lunch then ride back the old tiverton road or something?

Okay, I think we agreed on Sunday that we should try to organise a ride for the girls - and I think Smiler had an idea about that which sounded cool but, also, as we can't rely on the weather, we thought we should organise either an evening (dinner) or a lunch in, say, Taunton, which should be able to go ahead whatever the weather. This way, at least we can get everyone together to meet/say hi. Perhaps if it's a lunch at some point on a weekend, it could be followed by some shopping??!! Well, it'd be rude not to.. I'm happy to drive up and take whoever wants to go from Exeter - that way we have plenty of room for the shopping bags..

In the meantime, a pootle out to Fisherman's Cot is good for me!

Smiler - I think you said you have a fairly full schedule, so let us have some dates that'd work for you and we'll see if we can fit in.

Jaye - let me know when you're free for a trip to Bickleigh..

im not sure on the lunch in taunton because i litterally work 10 to 12 hour shifts nearly everyday so im knackered that and i only ride everywhere so if its proper P*ssin it down i dont fancy gettin completely soaked and knackered.
im up for the ride out on the sunday if i can get it off :>)

i also wont be there i dont do shopping but i also cant do weekends well mainly sunday as i work most of them the 31st is the only sunday i have had of this year without booking it off so i wont be there!!!!!

Kim, sounds like a great idea (sorry i wasn't there sunday....money issues )

i'm free mostly at weekends so that would be good for me and i'm up for a bimble to Fishermans cot (that's where i usually take myself off to anyway )

Would be cool to meet up with everyone, if you girls cant make weekends, would eves be a better option for you? maybe a few drinks just to have a chat????

Possible dates for a weekend - and this is either for a ride if the weather is good, or lunch and shopping if the weather is rubbish - are:

30th Aug Sat
7th Sept Sun (poss)
27th/28th Sept Sat/Sun

Let's fix a date first, and then we'll work out what we are going to do. Any of these dates are fine by me.

Mel/Tiggs, if you can't make a weekend, but an evening is better for a pub meet somewhere central to us all, let us have some dates and suggested venue. It would be good to meet you..
