Not sure if anyone is aware of this on here yet, but on the 23rd May the Emergency Services are holding a Road Awarness Day = ESRAD and are hoping to attract 6000 bikers from across the South West. All proceeds in aid of the Air Ambulance.
As someone having a small amount of involvment in this (supplying free overflow parking) I shall be giving it my full support.
It looks as though it will be a great day out and is being billed as Cornwall's second largest event of the year.
Those present will be...
Cornwall fire & rescue
West country ambulance service
Air Ambulance
Devon & Cornwall Police
Coast guards and lifeboats
Bomb disposal
Dartmoor rescue group
Road Safety Council
The military
etc
There will also be a bar, family fun area, vintage and custom vehicles plus live entertainment.
Just £3 per bike for a great cause.
A number of bike org's are already starting to get involved and I have said I would give it a mention on here.

Just to update....
We will be doing a ride out from Plymouth and taking the Long Way Round, not very long just 44 miles.
Looking to take in Yelverton, Princetown, Tavistock, Gunnislake, Callington, St Mellion and then in to Saltash for ESRAD. Anyone wishing to join us on route say 'ey and the location you wish to meet.

Leaving Tesco's at Woolwell, Roborough in Plymouth at 9am, next stop Yelverton shops at 9.15am, Princetown postoffice at 9.30am, Tennis Courts, Plymouth Road (A386) Tavistock at 9.50am. St Annes Chapel Post Office (A390) 10.10am, Callington ring road (A390) Moss Side 10.25am to Saltash on the A388 Arriving at Esrad for 10.40am.
All times are approx so if you are definitely meeting us on route please confirm where so that if your a little late we can hang on for you.
