that sucks, we came through Tavvy about 12, you would have seen 20 odd soaking wet bikers heading for Liskeard.janner wrote:Waited an hour at Tavistock but only spotted one scooter on the road so i figured you had either gone somewhere else or gone home, so had a good ride back down to Liskeard.
nope, there was a part on Dartmoor for 20 yrds that was dryshammy666 wrote:

Think Yeovil this morning and Maccy D's were the only places it wasn't raining.
is that why you went home early ? unlike those in winter gearMilky wrote:winter gear is for pussies!
i was there, hiding behind a jasperizer and a mug of tea. for this weather it was amazing, i had no idea there were so many people that could be fooled by a weather reportmiler wrote:went to Jaspers, was a good turnout for this weather, spoke to graham22 and meganall and sorry didnt recognise anyone else, hope you all had a safe journey back![]()

That was a bit of a soggy one eh!!!
Big thanks to Si for organising this, Bambam for TEC duties and everyone who turned out for it
Marty and Milky are currently in Exeter District Hospital undergoing treatment for hypothermia cos apparently a one piece race suit and a t shirt wasnt quite quite warm enough.....tarts!!
Ed, you def should've said it was your birthday! Hope you had a great day
Sam, you had the right idea hun, the sunshine appeared somewhere out across from the A38 on the way back, just to taunt us all! grr!! lol
Thx all, had a nice day despite the sogginess!

So when's the next one now that rides aren't weather/temperature dependant!?

Thanks Si for organising another great ride and to all the junction markers and bambam! Twas a good route and deffo think it should be one to be done in the spring/summer time when hopefully it might be dryer!!
Came home to roast beef in the oven so i pretty soon thawed out but going back outside to sort the horse out for the night was definately a mission and a half!

Second from last is the reason we carried on back to exeter, but what's being eaten in the last pic makes me think we should have come!
