[quote="joker1067"]I know people will go on and on about heated grips but i just put a pair on and they are right ur tips still get cold but the rest of the hand makes up for it and u dont notice ur tips being a bit cold!! and they are still warmer than they would be otherwise!
I always wear a Tshirt with a micro fleece on top, textile jacket and liner. Very chavvy trackie bottoms under my textile trousers
2 pairs of thin cocks works better than thick ones OH REALLY
I have Triumph jacket and trousers for the last 2 years, they have been 100% waterporoof but the trousers did fall apart a bit so I've just replaced them with another pair. while I was in the shop I noticed a heated jacket on sale for £100, it's friggin awesome, on the M5 the other night my temp gauge was reading -4 and I was toasty warm
keep your core temp up and everything else is loverly ;)
I wear thermals underneath, and then my ski wear over leathers in winter. Windproof and waterproof. Been toasty warm, even at 0 degrees! I wear waterproof boots 2 sizes too big with 2 pairs of socks. Reason for larger size is if the outside leather gets cold (which it will!), it doesn't transfer that straight to your toes as cold travels much faster through solid than air. Finally, a decent pair of winter gloves. My FT ones only cost £30, and I have a very thin pair of real wool gloves underneath (not the crappy bike glove liners. Mine are from Claires Accesories!).
So far I have only been cold once - the time I forgot my inner gloves!
