operation new pipes! :S

Post by bobberdave »

I've had the idea of making some new pipes to go on one of my bikes.

Has anyone on here done it before, and could maybe give me some advise/help? or am i being crazy and just dont bother?

Go for it, why the hell not.

What is an exhaust?

Its just a length of pipe with a silencer at the end. If you can weld, cut and bend tubing do it. It'll look just how you want it, sound how you like and fit just where you like.

Perfect. :)):

Go stainless if you can.

most likely a complete system.
maybe i could use the silencers that are on it at the moment, but change the down pipes. or just wake the neighbors and dont have the silencers.
and preferences on pipe benders? or even a company near by that might have one?

New member 'cobrabuilder' isn't far from you, and as the name suggests he works with motors. Worth a PM I reckon.
