The latecomer Balki on the MT07 who arrived about 20 minutes after everyone had departed, produced 69bhp which I was rather impressed with. Yamaha may have built a motor that will possibly unseat Kawasaki as the top dog for the Lightweight TT. I reckon there's a lot of potential in the MT07 motor, and it will make a very good Supertwin racebike.

It was a great giggle and was happy with the results,
Don't think anyone was unhappy with the results of here bikes whilst I was there.
Recon will have to get the z750 up at the next one to see what that's doing!

Just sorting out the video of the dyno run atm.

If you want more grunt from the Z750 motor, start by using ZX9R camshafts and the flywheel which is almost a kilo lighter than the Z750 one, Electrex supply a new stator which bolts to the Z750 cover and works with the larger ID of the ZX9R rotor. But the best way to get more power is to drop the Z1000 top end straight onto it, and ditch the fuel Injection and replace it with big flatslide carbs, and a Dyna2000 ignition for a ZX9R. I did that on my Z750 motor, a thou' top end ZX9R C model cams, 40mm TMR flatslides Akra headers for a 9R, Dyna2000 ignition, and it makes 149bhp at the wheel, over the winter I will have the crank knife edged polished and balanced with the ZX9R rotor, rods balanced and shot peened, pistons all weight matched, H/D valve springs ZX9R F model cams on APE adjustable cam sprockets, which should bump things up towards 170bhp at the wheel.

With your extra 20 that'll put a paginale or S1000rrrrr to shame :D
No, the extra 20bhp is in the 3.5 - 5k range (45-80mph ish) - I dont think theres more than a couple of BHP to gain anywhere else from what I see elsewhere. To go beyond that one has to look to the 1078/1090 motors (F312R, etc.,) where the later RR models are claimed at 200 at the crank (MV claimed 168 at the crank for mine, with the CAT & noise friendly pipes, which seems genuine to me) ....... 160ish at the wheel is more than enough for me

The latest (and last of the current) F4's is the limited edition F4RC, claimed to have 212bhp (crank), weigh 172kg, and be the best MV ever at a not unreasonable (for MV specials) £32k. It comes with a box containing full Ti exhaust, race ECU and various carbon trinkets ........
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....
