Not sure what's worse, a yamaha pretending to be a suzuki or a suzuki?

What, for desecrating a perfectly good Suzuki with some shonky Yamaha parts? I know, but it does manage to look like its a factory job .......billinom8s wrote:What a c#*t that owner must be

They used a real cr@ppy Chinese fairing to match the Suzuki build qualityTLS-Moose wrote:What, for desecrating a perfectly good Suzuki with some shonky Yamaha parts? I know, but it does manage to look like its a factory job .......billinom8s wrote:What a c#*t that owner must be

Meeooooow, would sir like a saucer of milk with that statement? Suzuki build quality has come a long way lately, they last at least a winter now
Speaking of build quality, we have a rather spectacular Yamaha R7 in the shop at the moment for a little work and a dyno run, I am amazed at how light the bike is, though with carbon fairings, ally tank and dripping in titanium and all manner of unobtanium, the most surprising thing was the owner telling me I might have to take it round the block and test it out a bit!!!
I reckon a 500 mile test ride, should help to show up any potential issues, whaddya think? I'll try and get some pictures posted of it, Mick posted a couple on the Faceache page yesterday, but I let him do all the Faceache stuff, as it drives me fackin' proper mental if I go anywhere near Faceache.
We also have a nice 748 Ducati in at the moment, so it should be a fairly even match to give Mick a race round the block

Well have someone standing by with the van to pick up the ducati when it breaks down then , Suzuki and build quality should only be in the same sentence with crap !! , they have improved since the 1970,s /80,s as you say , i had a X5 200 here the other day , broke it for spares in the end , but i would have wanted to reweld the frame before using it , pigeon crap welding would have been putting it nicely
