Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Not sure how the morning will go, The tank was Mot'd in April and has been used as a shelf since September, I was hoping to get finished early today and give it a going over but it's now 11pm and I'm just about to see if I can dig it out and charge the battery, if it starts I will see you at Tesco St Austell if not enjoy the day. If you pass by and see a KTM on the lawn on fire please don't put it out.....

made it home safe and sound, if a little damp (again).

well done to all those who made it out of bed and came out to play this morning :ymhug:

roads were EMPTY pretty much most of the way down to St Awful, they then started to fill up thanks to grockle traffic - WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY DOING UP AT 0530 ???!!!????

We had some mizzle off and on during the way down, made it to Lands End - apparently, couldn't really tell as couldn't see anything by this time B-)

popped over to Penzance for breaky - big yum there, no mizzle.

left Penzance, found mizzle, found more mizzle and it's bigger brother. This caused us to slow down and then the traffic built up and got slower - stupid cages, 25 mph is not 60mph, please learn this fact micra, swift, volvo and ford drivers.

we left badger at the border (thanks for doing the Cornish section again) so that he didn't lose his club membership and get thrown out and into Devon. Headed back to civilisation and blue sky/dry roads, something is wrong with that i think.

Anyway, still got out there to play, will stick next yers up in a couple of months and start nagging the Cornish Pixie council to book us some sun for next year.

Top job by Big Brian on the Busa for bringing up the rear and to all those doing the junction marking, we didn't lose anyone today.

thanks again

Thanks Si and Badger for leading the relevant parts of the ride. drip off system worked well, and great job on the Tec, Ptolemyx (Brian)

Menzies and I left the group and after a refuel, several speed camera van/gatso's and town traffic, just missed the first lap of the Motogp race in walkabout in Exeter.

A bit of a frustrating traffic morning after breakfast mostly but great to see everyone out for this mad early morning start.

At least one newby this morning. Well done Rob for making this as your first ride. Hopefully see you along for some more through out the summer or maybe get yourself on a track day....

Anyway, Thanks again for the efforts into organising and leading.

Well thanks to Si and Badger for leading
Well done to everybody for not loosing anybody else
And well done Brian for excellent TEC work.

It was a very early start

What a shame after the 30 deg heat we have had over recent weeks it had to go and rain the moment we get on the bikes X(

Anyway a good couple of hundred miles done today and had a good chat with some new and old faces.

Looking forward to the next ride :ymhug:

Someone somewhere has moaned. As TEC I wore a hi-vis with SWB on the back. An overtake wasn't to their liking
Sincere apologies to my friends here for APPARENTLY not promoting the courteous and considerate riding associated with SWB

To the moaner on fookbook please contact me so we can discuss the matter in a civilised manner :ymbringiton:

To my friends here with messages of support :ymhug:

Brian

I thought you did a grand job. Get the feeling some people are not happy unless they are moaning.

We had a big group and some crap conditions. Nobody got lost and nobody had an accident. Keep that :ymhug:

Thanks to all involved with another great RTTB. As for someone complaining about an overtake I guess it must have been from a member of the public as you were the last rider. Tell them to go f@#k themselves and mind their own business, i couldn't see any dangerous riding.

Really enjoyed my first RTTB despite the annoying weather, definitely worth getting up early for! Nice to meet you all and get involved in the ride out

Will be keeping an eye out for any future ride outs, and I'm feeling that my track day virginity will have to be taken soon!
