Morning People
well it seems like my original profile still exists on here!... think I joined back in the early 00s when it was all on the net and social media wasnt much of a thing
some of the original Exeter boys may remember me but i have no expectations of this and i had hair back then!
my bike list went
vfr750FL in red
Yamaha YZF1000 thunderace in red,white,black
BMW R1150R in black
Aprilla shiver 750 in orange (spent more time in sp motorcycles than my garage)
Cagiva navigator 1000 in red (TL motor)
Husquvana SMR450 supermoto
anyway I took a break then as i had finished manufacturing my own 2 seater sports car (lotus 7 style) and got it through an IVA test and registered so was just pushing the bike out to get the car out on them sunny days plus I started doing some clubman motorsport after getting my licence from the MSA and my fun money was focused on that - had a bike but it just sat in the back of the garage you then give up with the tax,MOT,insurance coz your just not using it and your working all the time etc
you know how the story goes divorce and life get less and less social I missed the community and being on two wheels so i returned a few years back but i mostly just ride solo, tour solo or do a bit of light greenlane solo. currently have a white 24 Transalp and a 26 Adventura Rally 307
now living j27 area halfway between exeter and taunton and be good to tray and do more rideouts and local community events. also interested if any of the group are going to the ABR festival this year? as i got tickets after going last year

Welcome Baz. If you're now back in the social biker world there's usually a fair bit of that happening here one way and another, just keep your eye on the forum. Hope to see you out with us soon.

Re: Returning Member!
Welcome back baz.
It's been a while and biking certainly has changed. Gone are the lines and lines of sports bikes everywhere and in and come the nakeds, adventures and dirt bikes. The roads have got worse and the bikes seem to have more cameras on than a movie set.
We're still here though.
There's a group of us that get out in the lanes or go to off road training schools now, road rides are still happening although not with such large numbers as 20 years ago.
Dive in and get posting, I know of a couple of people heading up the the ABR, I think they may even be marshalling it.
Post up something and i'll send them a link.
