Philosphers....

Post by Funky »

I e-mailed my Philosophy lecturer regrading being late to his lecture on monday as everyone has to hand in some coursework at 9am. This was his reply....

'What is Monday? What is a deadline? Do they exist I wonder..'

I might remember that when it's time to hand in his assignment...

It made me smile so I thought I'd share it.

Why is it that no matter how many pairs of socks I have, I can never seem to find any?

lets philosophise about that one - if you're a bloke and you live alone, you probably havent done any washing in a while. If you dont live alone, your mrs probably borrowed them all cos theyre warmer than hers. or maybe thats just my experience on the matter

Why do you believe it is a sock you have lost? What is it that makes you believe it's a sock? If a sock is lost and nobody is around does it still smell?

A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field. While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him. As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy. A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Moral of the Story -
[1] Not everyone who s**ts on you is your enemy.
[2] Not everyone who gets you out of s**t is your friend.
[3] And when you're in deep s**t, it's best to keep your mouth shut!
