'Specials' and Carol Nash Insurance...

Post by FJSRiDER »

A rider I know has been told by Carol Nash that they no longer are insuring specials - even his lightly modified Commando!

I wonder if this is going to be a problem if you have a street fighter, chop or just an aftermarket exhaust....

Apparently my friend was told over the phone yesterday... While their website still says
"Carole Nash Insurance is an independent specialist, offering UK bikers the very best value cover, whatever you ride. If you have had difficulty getting cover on a customised motorcycle, trike, or classic machine, then give us a try - we'll do our very best to get you insured."
:?

Could be an idiot in a call centre or could be a problem.... Time will tell.

I think they should also enforce day time running lights to reduce the risk of their insured riders
