Why the hell cant the police go catch some real criminals instead of spoiling a charity event, no wonder no one has resprect for the police any more when they go do stuff like this
loud exhausts and small plates are illegal. have them at your peril. so what if its a charity event. does that mean the law doesn't apply if you're on your way to a charity event ?

Quite so, and if they were organising a "stop and advise" set-up, or issuing producers, then fine ... to go mob-handed to such an event with the intent of issuing tickets ("revenue earning") is a little shallow.
How many times do we hear of them pulling over bikes entering/leaving race circuit's etc., When was thew last time they did the same at events like the F1 GP
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....
Handle stressful situations like a dog - If you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away

This is perhaps the most under hand tactics used by plod since the last time they done this. About 4 or 5 years ago!
Its sad isn't it but they will always focus on both car drivers and bikers because they are easy targets that bring in a huge revenue, you cant bill a rapist or a serial killer £40 a hit can you...
Yeah, it's always the same old 'jobsworth' but when he wants 'help with his inquiries' he wonders why there is a deafening silence. I wouldn't p*** on one if he was on fire, unless, of course, i was passing petrol!!!

That is so true, the charity only suffers as a result. I heard they were just handing out cautions and SOME producers for illegal plates, but still we tend to know when the police are turning up and that puts us off any ride. I feel sorry for the charity.
