License Endorsement - Turnaround Time?

Post by simonw »

I have to send my driving license off for my first three pentalty points after going a bit too fast in the wife's car a few weeks back* but, typically, I am going to need to have it handy for my upcoming bike tests (CBT a week on Saturday and Direct Access a few weeks after that). Does anyone have any idea how quickly the court in Swindon is likely to add the endorsement and return the paperwork to me?

Simon

Unlucky :(

Just give your training school a ring and explain the situation, if it doesn't come back in time for your CBT I'm sure they will book you in on a different day....

Your Training school have a direct tel no to DSA and if your liecence isnt back they can ring to confirm any details they need.

I believe that way of doing things expired 1st July this year; it did with LGV & car tests.

Normal turnaround for endorsements (i've been unfairly convicted 12 times todate... ) is around 7 - 10 days..

Cheers Andy. I'll send it off between my theory test and the Direct Access course then.

As for 12 convictions ... that gives me a target to aspire to!
