1. I thought the requirement for thisfor bikers had been revoked
2. Those wonderful Frenchies, even though it was made a legal requirement for motorists to carry them, there isno penalty for not having them

They have retracted the hi viz law aswell you just need one on you if you breakdown

A working motorbike (!)
Passport - yours should be OK
EHIC (Formerly E101) - check, but I think yours is out of date (mine is)
Insurance cover (possibly green card depending on company)
European breakdown recovery - about £45 from RAC
Euro's - Eur115 for balance of B&B plus whatever spending money you think you need .....
Evening clothing & footwear
Spare bulbs for bike
Chainlube
Hi-Vis vest (I have the odd spare one .....)
Panniers &/or tankbag
Space for my bag
Bike lock - mine will do both bikes
Oooh, an ickle bit of insulating tape for your headlight .....

One of the years I went with a Karl "bomber" Harris helmet
