there is always the case of 24hr 'Man Flu' which means you have to leave early to get some much needed rest, then by the time the rest of the family wake up on Sunday morning you'll be long gone ;)

From there Badger will lead the ride, he has promised to keep it sensible, unlike last year when it would appear he got spooked having people follow him and he tried to get rid of us.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE FUELLED UP WHEN YOU GET TO YOUR MEETING POINT

We will be running a LEADER, TAIL END CHARLIE and DROP OFF JUNCTION MARKER setup so as not to lose anyone.

EVERYONE WILL TAKE PART IN THE DROP OFF SYSTEM - MAKES THE DAY RUN SMOOTHER AND WE DON'T LOOSE ANYONE.

LEADER FROM EXETER TO DRUM BRIDGES - colin(rsv4Col)
LEADER FROM DRUM BRIDGES - SIMON(billinom8s)
LEADER FROM LANDS END - JOHN(BADGERKDD)

TAIL END CHARLIE ??????

ALL RIDERS WILL BE ASKED TO JUNCTION MARK, if you have never done this before don't panic. All you have to do is stop when the ride leader points to a junction, make sure you stop before the junction so everyone knows when to turn.
Then just sit back and wait for the TEC (tail end charlie) to come past - you may have a bit of a wait as the ride can get broken up sometimes, depending on how many riders we get.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T LEAVE THE JUNCTION UNTIL TEC COMES THROUGH, THIS WAY WE WILL NOT LOOSE ANYONE.
OTHER PEOPLE WILL BE RELYING ON YOU FOR A GOOD DAY AS MUCH AS YOU ARE RELYING ON THEM FOR THE SAME.

FOR THOSE WORRIED ABOUT FUELLING

EXETER - ST GERMANS - 56 MILES
ST GERMANS TO ST AUSTELL - 26 MILES
ST AUSTELL TO LANDS END TO PENZANCE - 62 MILES

ROUTE -
https://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?msid= ... 5,0.441513" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I think that is all.

Cheers colin,

i will stick you as lead from exeter to drum then. i think red5 was asking about the tec role for the day. will no doubt see him before this happens to clarify though.

Just worth adding, we will be passing the refueling garage at Penzance as we ride to the breakfast stop. I will be refueling at that fuel station AFTER the breakfast stop and as i am leading I would suggest we all re fuel at that time, rather than riders splitting off early and either losing the group into Penzance or having to wait for people to return to the group if you shoot off while everyone eats brekky.

Also, i will be leading until we get to Victoria services, just off the A30, 5 mins before Bodmin (the return leg), where we will stop for re- fuelling, bladder voiding and a change of lead rider ( I'll be going home from there).

But you look so fetching in yellow Nick, bring out your eyes.... ;;) :))

Its a fair old ride this one - does it have to be the same TEC all day? If the vest were to be swapped does that complicate matters..? Just an idea
