First of the bailers I'm afraid...

Will be away...
. . . . . . and so to bailer #2. . . . . . I'm here

- but the Fut's out

- still in a myriad peices 'cos been waiting for parts, and still needs an MOT after I finish nailing it back together. I'll have to be checking the heated grips and the new super duper hand-carved screen deflector another time - soon I hope.
Have a good and safe one chaps & chappesses

And normaly balmy East Devon is at -5 tonight (2300 hrs). Forecast for Sunday is not so cold as projected for Thursday & Friday, but it still ain't gonna be nice.
I can feel a postponement coming on so hope to make that one.

Had -10 here by 10 pm yesterday evening. Supposed to drop to -12 tonight.
Forecast for Sunday is 3-4 degrees but with wind chill feels like -3 to -5. Wind chill at 60 mph feels like a nice 4X4 with winter tyres, a heater and a radio.
Went out last Sunday and it was lovely. Only about 3 degrees at best but sunny and no east wind. If its like that this Sunday I'll go for it but with this howling easterly I'm out, even if it is above freezing.
Trouble is, this time next week it will no doubt be pouring with rain..

Country file weather forecast Heavy snow for us on Friday ,may need snow tyres LOL
No excuses Mandy, you should be acclimatised to a bit of cold; dust off the DT 175 and pretend you're back in Norway.
It was beautiful sunshine in Norway

was thinking about the DT today LOL

Yeh, you'd think they would... but the truth is unless you have spiked tyres they fall over almost as easy as any other bike does on ice & snow.
They are easier to pick up though, and don't generally get hurt by the fall, unlike the rider...
I don't ride on snow now (did when I was younger) as you can't see what's actually under it!

All true, but I'd call on a few years of off-road experience, not to say inate cranial decreptitude and old-man irrisponsability, and take on the challenge just to be able pootle 2 miles down to my local for a restorative beverage

. As it is I've been stuck within the confines of Fut Towers all day, and unless I can purloin a Snowcat I won't be going anywhere until this white rubbish clears
