Because one of two things happened and I cant remember which one it was>

Phil mate sorry but change of plans.

Now going to have a small pillion with me, so can you drop me down to group 4 please. Been giving me grief about coming on a rideout and told him i can't take him to llandow so this will be my bribe to him.

He likes it fast but ain't risking taking him any quicker then group 4 as he is only 12.

Thanks buddy and sorry again.

From Exeter: M5 towards Plymouth take Right fork on A38 towards Plymouth. approx. 2 miles further on take left fork following signs for A380 Torquay (telegraph hill) at top of hill turn left into the Haldon Grill Cafe (signposted)

From Plymouth: A38 towards Exeter go past 1st Newton Abbot turn off, go past 2nd Newton Abbot turn off (Drum Bridges), go past Chudleigh Knighton turn off, go past Chudleigh turn off & up steep hill then down other side & up steep twisty hill (Haldon Hill).

At top of hill turn left immediately after BP Garage signposted Dunchideock (or something like that) - NB: sharp left turn. At bottom of road turn right & under bridge past race course (on right) across mini r/bt past Gypsy camp on left & at next jnvt turn left & go over the bridge then turn left & cafe is on the right...

Glad you posted that - how long does it take from plymouth? I am coming from Tavy and need to leave lots of time as my sense of direction is absolutely rubbish!

If you go the more entertaining way via two-bridges & ashburton, I'd allow 60-75mins or so, depending on whether you stick to 40 (  ) and to have time for a cuppa/chat :D

speedy, never sent you any pm or message saying I wasn't going, you must have me mixed with somebody else, or maybe somebody doesn't want me to come (am I being paranoid ?).
