You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.
Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Northing complicated. TEC is short for Tail End Charlie. The guy, or girl, at the back (Tail End) who is the marked last person through so in theory once they're through or at a destination, everyone will be there. It works so long as junction markers do their job, and stay put until the TEC come's through. The TEC will either pass and then allow that junction marker to pass or slow down and give them time to pull off in front of himself.Kind of keeps every one between a leader and a sweeper upper if you like.
Hope that helps and hasn't complicated the idea. It really is very simple.
You coming along to the RTTB and / or friendly ride 8th July??
Nick.
Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..
If you do decide to change the TEC mid route, please make sure everyone is made aware of the change. With more people wearing dayglo bibs out of choice these days its sometimes possible to mistake the TEC if you don't know he/she has changed over.
Thanks ;)
Cut me in half and I'v got Suzuki written right through me!

Would it make your life easier if anyone who's interested/ offering to be TEC to PM you Si? Then you can organise any change overs, who, where, etc. beforehand?
Just a thought

I was only thinking aloud really, that its a long day for just one person to 'duty' all day. OF COURSE this needs to be sorted prior to ride taking place.. If you need another TEC at any point, I'm happy to do it (20+ leatherclad arses to follow, hard life eh? )
