unlucky mate.

get on DSC and ask around......best place......

ask "skidlids" on there....hes does/did alot of racing and knows alot of contacts to get you stuff at a good price......

ah man that is a nightmare, hope you get sorted soon, near the wedding to, better tell the misses to find a cheaper wedding dress and slip up to gretna on the monster the money you will save will sort out the engine

Sorry to hear that Age....that happened to a mate of mine, on an early Fireblade, he just cracked the case behind the front sprocket, believe it or not, he put Araldite on it, I saw him about 2 years after the event.....It was still holding out, and as far as I know....It still is !!! 8)

On the bright side though.... ideal to stick a TL motor into now!!! (only jokin............................ maybe :P )

Anyway you sure it's the main crankcase it's hit... and not a part that can just be taken off and replaced....

If it's main crankcase... being a V-Twin the whole engine would have to be taken apart and rebuilt... not the cheepest of jobs :(

Unlucky m8... I had it happen to my on my GSXR400, it went clean though the clutch pin... and eat into the waterpump... pain in the ass to fix... but noway near as major as a whole engine rebuild in your case... poor sod :( Hope you get it sorted soon m8 :)
