You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.
Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Thanx for all the well wishes guys, & pm's, calls and texts...
I will now explain the EXACT reason behind my crash...
I was riding into a left hand bend, well within my limits and on a good line, when I suddenly spotted the lane on the right...
Now my cr@p eyes told my dopey brain that this was a 'T' junction and I was about to be out of road to stop on...
I panicked, stood on and locked the back brake, which sat me up and headed me across the opposite lane towards where I was looking...
A couple of skids and slides later, I was on the gravel and grass and it was time to go in head first, or lay her down and go along for the ride, so down she went...
As you can see from the photos in the other thread, the bike skipped the ditch, and I went in...
So there you have it... The bike was mechanically fine, road conditions perfect, no excuses... I f**ked up...
Note to self 'Must where glasses when riding'...

Get well soon Nick.
From what I've been told, Nick was just coming down from a 180MPH one handed wheelie, he noticed the corner was quite sharp so naturally started to back it in, he was still backing it in side ways as well as dragging his knee when he noticed the stream ahead, he was also quite thirsty so decided to back it straight into a stream. He decided to break his collar bone so people wouldnt realise he meant to do it.
