I know but I live in the vain hope that one day it'll all be good
I love my bike and have a lot of plans for it, but as i've said to a couple people sometimes you have to cut your losses. I'll see how it goes in the near future.

I bought a full set of Piston rings today from CMS so they'll hopefully be here soon ready for a certain Angel to fit them. When that's done the bike is going to run saweeet... I hope...
Well i hope this Angel has a homing tool as if the rings are gone boy the bores might need homing out cause if they are scoored and fecked, you just might need to get some over sized rings in there
Fingers crossed for you

Dont get to worried Funky, mine was apparently "f*cked" but like you I had just done valves, head gasket, cam chain and tensionor, and my barrels where fine, I got the head skimmed (£30) and new rings, and its got more compression than new now!
I just have gay niggling fueling problems! But cant dyno it as I am still running the mother back in

9 times out of 10 you will be ok.
Didn't mean to sound all doom and gloom.
Just don't pin your hopes up on just being RINGS. Easy enough job to do when engine is stripped but its the damaged they could of caused if they have broke up inside whilst running. They have to go somewhere and if up the side of a piston whilst on a stroke then sorry to say the bore will be fecked.
If its just worn rings like SPEEDYS BUM

Then you should be ok with a replacement set of rings as long as they measure the bore diameter and everything ties up.
Best of luck dude

Got the new rings today, going to pick the bike up on monday and get it to a certain person's place via good ol' RAC recovery
