I do agree that pedestrians must be responsible but it's difficult when these pedestrians are 5 year old ones !! I'm teaching my kids to check before crossing and I usually hold their hands (the youngest one anyway) but sometimes they just "escape" and run !!! my youngest just does this sometimes and has crossed the road running and without looking once in front of me, there was nothing I could do , fortunately there was no car !It's at that time of the day that most 5 year old get killed ! being cautious on your bike when near a school or when people are getting off the bus is just common sense.

We all have a responsability too look after ourselves and the people around us is what i say, The americans have a good idea you do not pass a stationary school bus and they stick to the rule i believe

most of the people who i knew that rode real agressively are dead or gave it up after a real nasty crash!

and i know what you meen im always sucking trough my teeth when i see t!ts on peds and bikes in exeter

i could list them all but i would get RSI typing them all :lol:
