ok just waiting on a set of hoses and calipers, and finishing off the clock mounting bracket and it should be ready for MOT. Also need to do something to cover up all the wiring up behind the headstock - unfortunately no mounting brackets for the infils that F2's have. Here it is minus clocks, brakes and one fairing panel - cosmetically its just the tank that lets it down (though the wheels need a clean) but my intention is to sort it once its on the road - theres a couple of dents so I may even keep my eye out for a new tank.
just wish I had taken some "before" pics - though I say that every time i get a bike I think...

hopefully, thats the plan, so long as it runs ok. the powervalves are sticking a bit but I'm hoping a good blast will clear it out
still needs a bit of work, and looking at those pics I think it also needs a bellypan

Well if it does break down, you can always use the engine outta that lawn mower...
Plenty fast enough for Llandow...

do you know I hadn't even noticed the missing Y !!!! well spotted!!
yep same bike Rob - new top yoke off a 31k, new tail panels, new tyres, shock, various bearings, chain and sprockets, battery, junked the top fairing for a single headlight, and got a set of TZR clock cases that are enclosed at the back - just making up a little alloy bracket to mount them, new fork seals (though I think new forks might be in order in the long run) as well as the wiring work, carb strip/clean etc - for a quick cheap clean-up its turned into a bit of an expensive toy

still it will be worth it when i get to take it out for a rip!!!
hmmm, hadn't thought about turning the lawn mower to a go-kart but now you mention it...

getting there... hoping to be ready for MOT by the end of today if the headlight glass clips and front indicators arrive in time. Brakes are all refitted and bled up (what a pain in the arse that was!! bleed nipples had snapped so had to get banjo bolts with bleed nipples instead) but theyre working well with new braided hoses all round, clocks are mounted, everything seems to be working - took it for a quick spin (up a private drive of course!!) and it seems to go OK - struggling a bit to rev out but then again I haven't started playing with the carbs properly yet.
Fingers crossed I can try and get it done and booked in for an mot tomorrow morning, as I'd like to get the chance to get used to it before the track day really...
