First of all - Your a Tw*t  Accident and Injuries both totally avoidable :?

Then again, I'd suggest the majority of us (certainly those of us who started riding at a similar age to you) have done the just same .....

Main thing is, you're not seriously hurt, and you've learnt a valuable lesson - and even more importantly, your actions haven't hurt anyone else

Get well soon, and I hope the road rash ain't (too  ) sore

yup, in fact only a couple of weeks ago I was riding in Croatia in just a pair of swimming shorts and trainers. So I cant preach about wearing gear, but be sure that if your smart you will learn to put the leathers on all the time, and if you cant do that make absolute sure you keep your bike upright regardless of whose fault it is or any excuses.

...as it aint just your neck on the line its when you bounce down the road its your familys to, as they are well and truly in the firing line should you do a number on yourself.

Sorry to hear of your off Leroy. As you have said it could have been alot worse and you never know this experience may save you from worse further down the road now that i'm sure you'll always be fully kitted.

On a side note, if you do brake the bike I know some one who is after a set of down pipes and collector box for one of these ,so if yours are still ok and you want rid, let me know and i'll pass on the info.
