I too had the suction device but didn't trust it.
Yeah used the suction mount all last year, all over the bike too. Side fairings, headlight, rear cowl etc no issues at all. Just make sure the surface is clean and flat-ish.

nothing particularly stunning about it but just for me really sums up the memories of touring france on the bikes. Manged to spend nearly a month touring including ferries for just over £400 due to cheap camp sites and 1 euro bottles of wine.
i dont have a drinking problem.......if anything, i'm [i]too[/i] good at it
