We're all plonkers here but mine wasn't as far fetched as you. Though mine was at a set of lights, was waiting there for a while (road works) when it changed went to pull off as I thought obviously as I put my hand back onto the bars hit the switch and thought I stalled her but she wouldn't start again. Pushed her to the side of the road and scratched my head took off the seat to see the battery on the side of the road before realising how much of a plonker I was being. Mine was public too, glad I was only with one other biker otherwise I doubt I;d have lived this 20 minute faff on the side of the road down. But I'm a completely new rider, so I check everytime now

That happened to me at Zuki's.
Someone who shall remain nameless, thought it would be funny to flick the kill switch.
Took me a couple of moments to switch the old brain on
Funny really , coz my first thought was the battery, even though the lights were on and dash lit up like a christmas tree
