Count me in for for a brew at West Bay then I'll ride back with you along the A35 as far as Raymond's Hill then peel off onto the B3165 back to Crewkerne.

The main road from Bridport to Beaminster gets very busy. The back road through Salwayash and Broadwindsor is much better and once clear of the villages just outside Bridport there are some nice sections.
I've often wondered what the roads are like if I hopped on the B3163 rather than sticking to the B3066. I'll give that try next time.

Jug is organising that ride.
No he isn't.

But if would be good (I think) to do a separate ride on the same day for those of us that are based over the east, meeting at Westbay roughly the same time for brew and a natter.
Still not me though..

All those back roads in that area can be good. But they're nadgery and there can be gravel about where there's high banks.
The south western end on the B3163 goes a bit straight and boring but its good fun through the Marshwood vale.

My problem with the main east/west A roads is traffic. Might be better now the holidays are over.
