so it looks like we have a destination for our ride then, nicely chosen folks.
if you don't want food etc at the end of the ride, it doesn't mean that you can't come along. They serve nice, cold , drinks there too. Nothing better come the end of a bimble through the Devon countryside.
I'm just waiting for the menu and price to come back me and then i'll find out what the deal is re paying - up front or on the day.
i'm guessing they will want numbers though.
so who's having grub then?

Ok then truckers, lets keep on trucking !
We will be LEAVING the services at Tiverton at 9am, please be fueled up, bladders emptied and ready to go by 8.55.
As the google map planner thing can be a little tempera
mental I've had to provide you with two links for this run. The first one will go from the starting point, out and around some familiar roads and some not so familiar roads. I've tried to do this to avoid the grockles but still give us some nice bends to play on. The second link will continue from where the first one ran out of markers(just outside Exeter) and continue on to where we will finish the ride and have some nice BBQ snacks waiting for us and cold drinkage.
We will be using the drop off system for junction marking and 'bike in mirror' method for keeping the group together.
We will have a quick stop at Great Torrington green to allow for tanks to be filled and bladders to be emptied but it will only be for approx 30 mins so please don't get the two confused.
There will be a small amount of A30 to jump on at the end but only for 3-4 miles so even those on 125's if in attendance will be able to ride with us to the end.
So here is the course.

Please remember this is a friendly ride so lets all play nice and not scare all those nasty cage drivers with their unstable boxes and poop buckets behind them, also there is every chance we'll get some newer riders along so lets not try to show off our crap riding until at least their 3rd outing.
Oh, I'm still looking for a Tail End Charlie for this run please so if there are an volunteers for the role, please give me a shout and I'll sort you out a hi-viz, If you've never done the job before but fancy a go at it give me a shout and i'll talk you through the role, it's pretty easy really.
Don't forget, anyone is welcome to come along and play on these rides and their bikes only need to be able to do 60mph so if you do know of any newer riders that want to experience a group ride that isn't The Mega Ride or Devon Air ambulance they are more than welcome to come along.
Now lets hope we get a nice day for it.

ok, so been in contact with the venue again and they are wanting to know numbers for food.
obviously Kim and I will be having some snacks there and she will no doubt be sampling some grape juice
anyone else looking to get food at the end of the run?
if you could please get your name down on here for me to let them know it would be appreciated, the more names we get, the better the food deal i can haggle for.
even if you aren't planning on eating there, just finishing the run and having a drink, it would be nice to give them numbers.
thanks
