Re: Slightly miffed
I have tracked down my ECU. Andy is keeping it in his desk until i can go pick it up where i might go off the handle about the milage. Apprently he was told by torbay GT's that it was 200 miles aswell. Surely this constitues a breach of some sales act due to the fact that everyone thought it was 200 miles and then.............. whoops no it aint. Maybe if i raise enough fuss theyll refund me my restrictor.

Ok, a couple of points:baskie";p="29982 wrote:yeh gt's do suck monkey pole, they too interested in making money. the guy who owns the plymouth one, his daughter was in my tutor group at school. was a stuck up cow and they dont care about customer relations. i got my bike crom CMS up mutley. what a nice bunch, friendly people who realise be good to your customers and they will keep comming back and spread the word that business is good. obviously gt have yet to learn this tactic. only thing gt has on its side is people who have never done anything to do with bikes. they assume because it all looks pretty and that it has tons of bikes its the ideal place to go and buy a bike, and of course it aint. they're rip of merchants personally. cant say i heard a good word said about that place. dont know what the other 2 gt are like but plymouth sucks to be honest.
1) The guy who owns 'the Plymouth one', Mike Granger, also owns the others;
2) I know both daughters, and both are friendly, polite and caring people;
3) You also probably know me, my friend, from the very same school which you refer to. Except I'd possibly have taught you;
4) I don't believe there is any point or relevance in using someone's son or daughter to slag off their business;
5) While I accept that some people's experience with GT has not been positive, I also wonder what those people have actually done about addressing this with the company or Mike himself before making relatively anonymous and unsubstantiated accusations;
6) You can bank on people criticising far more easily and vocally than praising;
7) GT has not become the largest motorcycle franchise in the South West by coincidence;
There - you've heard a good word about the place now, and the admin had better move this to the silly section!
