Jon at Jaspers

Post by hilljd00 »

Hope to come down to Jaspers tommorrow the 8th April at about 15.00hrs/ 3pm if it is dry. If not will try to come down on Sunday about the same time.

I hope to see most of you down there if you are able to make it. If not may be the next time I get down there.

Oh thanks for the dog (JESS) and cards that you all sent and brought in to me when I was in Derriford, it was really appreciated by me and all of the family.

So good to hear you are making progress Jon. I have had 6 weeks in plaster and am in my first week of 4 in orthopaedic boot after having a tendon transplant in foot. I expect like you find I have good days n bad. Yesterday I was feeling sorry for myself as I so want to go over to Paignton this weekend, n not sure I can walk that far for very long. Then I read your message and thought what a misery I must seem when there you are proving to all the world that you we will get there it just is all about hanging in there and being patient. All the best Jon

Alright everybody, doing good in physio, stood up 3 weeks ago in hydrotherapy and every week since with help. feels good to be upright again
from being in a chair for six to seven months.

Got my operation date for my feet its the 6th July or earlier if someone cancels, and the casts allow me to be able to stand up so I get a head start.
