There they go again bumping up the statistics to justify there own ends...yes bikers make up 1% of road traffic but contribute 14% of all fatalities( which I know is bad enough) but not 33%..cinderella wrote: Inspector Robin Derges, head of the force's motorcycle wing, said...... Also, if you don't have a number plate (as I understand it from article in MCN approx. 6mths ago), you don't get a fine or points (it may have only just become detached) but will be issued with rectification notice giving 7-days to sort the problem, however, if you keep getting caught or don't comply with the notice the police have the power to take your bike & have it crushed...

I can agree with some points of view on this thread,but someone doing a wheelie 2 up on a busa.Is it any wonder that the police police these events.Simple point, if you don,t do anything illegal (or do and don,t get caught!!) then you are not going to have a problem with the police.I,m sure most of them really do have better things to do.

Firstly jewell let me sugest a psychiatrist to you as being on your own by your little self & thinking you are your many friends is called Schizophrenia!!Jewell wrote:have enough friends so dont care if i make enemies mate,pure and simple.
your complaining about getting fined for going out intentionally to get an illegal plate on your bike and you cry when getting done for it????
its like when the police pulled me over for speeding,i didn't ask why they pulled me over?
And didn't put up a thread moaning when the copper did me for no plate....didn't cry when i got done for no tax...twice....Deffo didn't complain getting let off 45 in a 30 when i was 17.
Even tho we all know that 80% of traffic coppers are muppets and were bullied at school..........we cant complain when they do us for sumin illegal on our bikes.

f uck the police - they arent worth the steam of my piss but if they catch you for doing something illegall then its hard to moan about what is, for better or for worse their job . Best thing you can do is not get caught.
I have been getting small plate fines for the last ten b loody years - they are always "cracking down on it".
f uck em - if I earnt as little as those uneducated clowns do I might be concerned about £30 fines.
