Is that what they call a ' hail Mary ' ?

100% overcast up here and just begiining to turn to rain.

Tis winter after all.

For us twas a good rideout, roads were damp-ish but the rain stayed off until around 1.00 pm; but by then we'd been on the outside of a big fat brekkie in Winkleigh by an hour or so, so didn''t care - met a few proper bikers there too, it was good to know we're not alone in being able to ride to the conditions. Got home safe and sound - (o.k. and a tad damp during the last 45 min's, but what the hell, it's only water) - around 1.30 pm.

Thanks once again to Roy B and his faithful 1200 Bandit for the company. Hope you remembered some of those roads Roy, it's your turn to plan and lead one next time!

i was out for a few hours, just hit the hail and rain on the way home.

Good ride Phil, made quick progress and got rid of that desire for a ride until of course, the next time. Had to go today.

Plenty of rain on the way back, but it's amazing how quick you can go in the wet, just riding to the conditions, smoothly and with lack of traffic--plus a ride leader who knows where they are going.

Great fun; I'm glad I joined the South West Bikers.
