If theres anyone going who may have a hydrollic break bleeding kit, is there any chance they could take it :?: :?: Will bring a pot of Dot 4 and an 8mm spaner.

Cheers

You only need a milk bottle and a small piece of pipe about a ft long to fit over the bleed nipple and the spanner and fluid

I've got one of the kits that has a one way valve in a piece of rubber tubing, I also have a proper bleed nipple spanner (to help avoid rounding off the nipple).

i'm a teeny bit hungover at the mo but give me a shout and we can sort it later today or some time tomorrow - rather than have to carry a load of stuff with you on the ride Sunday.

Neh mark, tried that, i have that type of kits here, but for some reason its not working. Now need to try a hydrollic one. Rear is fine but the front lever is coming back to the bar near enough.

Sounds like you have got trapped air in there. Sometimes if you pull the lever in and tie it in that position (keep the pressure on ) and take the top off the resovoiur leave it like this overnight it gets rid of the trapped air bubble. Then try bleedin again in the mornin.

For those not sure....

Haldon Grill is at the top of Telegraph Hill heading towards Torquay on the A380 - they've just built a big new bridge so northbound can get to it easier

Get there early for your bacon sarnies

And thanks to those who've told me what you want for lunch ... I'll ring the pub tomorrow to let them know. For those leaving it till the day - please bear in mind it's Easter Sunday - the pub have said that food waiting time will be long, especially if its sunny as they're on the harbourside and it gets very busy.
