All that attended remember that tiny oil leak which i thought was sump washer??

Well turned out to be a cracked sump. I'm to blame for that

 Over tighten sump plug

So had to drop the sump

Unrepairable (gone to far across for steal insert or hellicoil) so just purchased a S/H hornet sump. Deeper so holds more oil and looks as if it will clear the exhaust. Just waiting on gasket to arrive tomorrow and try again

Time is ticking :?

Another BBQ on the cards to put it back together for me yeah ???

I know it's easy to say afterwards but for future use a torque wrench. You know it's not to loose but tight enough not to come undone.

I use a halfords professional one which was the only one I could find with NM and lbf.ft on with a window scale, that wasn't silly money, was 3/8 drive and wnt low and high enough.

Always use a new sump washer as well for the price of 'um

Hang on Mark... How quickly we forget certain conversations eh... :?

Nick after changing oil filter and filling with oil - Quote 'Hey Mark, have you tightened the sump plug mate?'

Reply - Quote 'Yes mate, all torqued up' - 'Now, get back to work and let me finish this beer and hot dog'....
