Bike has been tested and found the alternator stator is kaput
New one ordered and dispatched today so fingers crossed it will be fixed by next week!

Meanwhile, in the adjacent camp, the TL is also having charging issues ........ Barely 13v @ 5k rpm ...... Looks like it might be in the same boat ....

If this is on still count me in, not sure if Bringing the Ninja or the GSXR (comfy vs having a laugh on my newer toy)
Be good to see old and new faces
Ninja has a few issues and the GSXR is unproven....

I'll be using that one as my ' leaving Cornwall' stop and drop off point. I did use the Victoria garage and old Happy Eater site previous years, but thought the new services would be better as the toilets and fuel facilities are better. Also noticed yesterday that all 'locals' get a 5p a litre discount off fuel. Looks like I'll be paying for 25+ fill ups then ;) ....
Smiler and Kwak, the road past 'Castle an Dinas' ( old Goss Moor road ) is being top dressed on Monday, so I'm picking an alternative route to Victoria Services. Will let you know by or on Sunday itself what road it is.

Yeah thanks for that Slugs' ( I like that nickname ;) ) I mentioned it was being 'Top dressed' and thats the expected result, loose gravel and sticky tarmac spots, lovely

.
reckon I'll just go up the A38 a bit and come across on the St. Wenn road, that still comes out onto Goss Moor, just the other end!
