Jug - Have you got an ETA for your arrival at the Chepstow Spar shop? Depending on weather I might decide to leave at a sensible time and meet Kata and your posse there. I'll then tag on as far as Crickhowell where I'll be stocking up on the carb's i.e. a fry-up at the Courtyard Cafe. After that it's A479 Talgarth, A470 Builth Wells and A483 to the Neuadd for me.

I'm guessing anytime after 12:30, assuming I don't miss the junction on the M4 and end up doing to lower bridge instead, like I have done two times previously.

Jay you had to go and say it........
Spent weeks having to work looking out the window saying I'm missing the British summer and its come early.
Eventually get out for 3 days of pure biking and quality road riding......
and now going to be pissing it down

Also just as a heads up i am planning on setting off from the Exeter area at 12.00 so looks like I will get there later then the Jug's group. I think there was a suggestion of meeting for dinner at 7pm so will make sure to be there on time

FJR Club. They also pump/activate it a few times each service as this helps keep it working.

John, it'll be almost a last minute decision from me as to whether I do an early run or leave later and join up with Jug's group at the Chepstow corner shop (listed on Google Maps as 'InPost Locker'). Either way, I'll be stopping at the Crickhowell cafe. After that there's a Plan B for my route as the A479 to Talgarth is closed until 17.00 hrs on Friday the 6th.
My route to the Neuadd from Crickhowell will now be:
A40 to Bwlch.
B4560 via Llangorse to Talgarth.
A479/A470 to Builth Wells.
A483 to Llanwrtyd Wells.

It'll be fine.
It looked pretty dire last year but in reality there was hardly any rain while we were riding.
Can be plenty of it over night though so I have given my bike a good clean and a fresh coating of ACF-50.

Friday and Saturday will be fine. A few showers Sat evening and we'll be wearing waterproofs for the ride home Sunday. That's good enough for me
