well basically mate i was too skint to buy a new pair of 014s. Desperately needed a new rear for the Le Mans trip so i put on an 020 that i had sat in my garage but had nothing to put on the front. So now I have a half worn 020 on the rear and a totally shagged 014 on the front - so the handling isn't great

still rather than have to buy a new set of 014s perhaps you could lend me your bike for the trackday

the off and black cat run back to tiverton
Ah, I took the B3227 past West Anstey which comes out at the black cat, dunno if that would be the black cat run? If it is, then a twin headlight, red bike overtook us on it. I slowed down to let him past, thinking it was two bikes and there might be more. :D

So, if it was you, she who was two up on a BMW, saw you coming for ages and a blind, one-legged man on a pushbike could overtake me with no problems, so no brownie points there either.

Of course, there's more than one red bike in the world, so it might not have been you, however, as you mentioned passing a BMW two up...

Only just managed to get on-line (and oh so many posts to catch up on!), so first chance to thank Speedy for organising the ride out on Sunday - I had a brilliant time. A big thank you also to Alex G and everyone in our group - you were all great.
