Having just put together a ride out and having a lot of bikes turn up with very much mixed styles and expectations, and then reading a thread posted by Smiler, I thought I’d put together a ride out with a difference:

Sunday 1st December 2019 - Meet you there!

Destination: The Red Barn, Barton Road Woolacombe EX34 7DF

Time: 13:00 (depending on your starting point, plenty of time for conditions to warm up!)

A chance to meet up with local riders organised by you - probably you and a few mates - ride at your own pace to a great destination with plenty of ideal bike routes to choose from, meet up as a larger SWB group for lunch, coffee and some bike banter at The Red Barn!

A few of us are planning on LEAVING Bridge Motocycles at 10:45, meeting between 10:15 and 10:30! It’s an open invite, anyone can join us but it will be a pacey ride from here and not suitable for 125cc.

If you fancy a more relaxed ride or you’re on a smaller machine, feel free to post a reply to this thread with an alternative starting point and time.

If it's a structured rideout then I don't see why not.

Excellent point .... points mean prizes .... very important!!

But can we not be silly about this? Genuine starting points for the sake of geography etc.

Not silly spin offs / splinter groups for the sake of getting points!

So if this 'rideout' is actually a just a meeting point for various Rideouts, should it not go down in the meetings section?

With this concert you could have numerous rides, at different paces all meeting at the same place for the same time.

High blast action from shooey and Phil meeting with wurther sponsored bimbles from me or Menzies all out on the same day, different routes, same idea.

Cool.

Just a simple suggestion leaving people to join from various starting points, or even their own starting point, with similar likeminded riders, at a pace that their comfortable with, meeting up at a great location, for a banter and lunch!

If im not on the piss in London should be able to make this.

To get your points, each rideout must be in it's own thread though as it will be classed as a separate organised event.

So, after a false start, this is what I'll be doing on the day and everyone is invited on my route to Shooey's meet at Woolacombe. My pace will be "not hanging about but not stupid":-

Leave Tiverton Morrisons petrol station 09.30

via Wheddon Cross car park 11.15 to 11.30, where others (Phil's Honiton crew) may well join the posse.

Arrive Woolacombe 12.45

(The route on the Google link from Wheddon may well be amended as Phil took a few of you on the A39 just recently.)
