Nice to see a few of you chaps down there tonight. Probably the busiest I've ever seen it.

When,
"It's absolutely rammed at the moment"
It isn't over yet, check the daily death rates, currently well over 100. Methinks it would be reasonable to assume that where large numbers gather in close proximity would be a significant factor

After a last minute decision, I went to Langport bike night at Eli's. Smaller, more laid back, a nice pub and a nice ride there & back

Nice pic's Moose. As you say, there's always room to mill about there without everyone being too packed together. And, of course, it is one of the best pubs in Engerland. Think I'll go over to Eli's next Wednesday...

That Old Father Time lookalike in the middle of Moose's pic # 3 is Baz Bowerman, one of my old-school grasstrack sidecar racing competitors; a man of many amazing racing stories from our days - some of them true. He rides a Triumph Rocket 3 nowadays but says he won't join SWB as, to quote Groucho Marx, 'I wouldn't join any club that would have me as a member'

Just so you know who's who in the crowd - Moose is a fat grumpy old git and Fozz is a fat grumpy old git
And, by the way I'm also a fat grumpy old git
