Coming back from town today, on the Cattedown roundabout, I stop slowly as the roundabout has lots of traffic on it. While stopped I look in my mirrors and see a green Focus getting very close....then bang! Hits me up the arse and sends me about 20feet forward. I managed to keep the bike off the ground tho and got off and approached the driver. He got out.Looked at the front of his car for damage and went to get back in. I shouted "Are you going to ask if Im OK" and he just said "you obviously are, whats with the attitude?" I went farkin mental, gave him a right mouthful......GRRRRRRR
Me and the Hornet are OK though,

Looking back, I should have planted my boot through his door, then see what his attitude is like

complete w*nker byt the sound of it - u should have definately got his details you never know - its so easy not to spot damage at the scene and then find something wrong when u get home.

glad u and bike are ok - and WELL DONE for keeping the bike sunny side up :-)

Thanks for your replies. You are all right, I should have got his details but in the heat of the moment I assumed my bike was OK. He hit the tyre which acted like a big bumper. I have checked the bike and everything seems OK but I take your advice for the future...you never know do you? I think I felt I was lucky to have saved the bike from hitting the deck.

Stunning result keeping the bike up! - I can hardly reach the deck so would have been straight on it's side!

Im laughing about it now because if you were watching you would have seen my arms and legs all over the place trying to stay upright. It just goes to show that no matter how careful you ride...the muppets can still get you!
