Slightly miffed

Well my sv650 was delivered by GT's today yet it was not the joyous event i pictured.
Firstly my original ECU for the bike was missing. They said something about sending it bak to suzuki. Forgive me if im wrong but doesnt that ECU belong to me! I bought the restricted ECU as an extra and since when was it a part exchange. What do i do when my two years are up or if i wanna take it on the track??
Secondly they coated the bike in gt motorcycles stickers which took ages to shift. A petty complaint yes but irritating none the less.
Third and most important. When i put a deposit down on the bike it had 200 miles on the clock. Delivered today the bike now reads over 500. Does ne one have any idea why this mystery milage should have been put on my machine??!
Also i was promised they would tax the bike for me which they failed to do. Un less they have a good excuse on monday or forget ill be taking my business to bridge who have never let me down.
The bike hopefully wont be standard for long. Got a belly pan, hugger, tail tidy (essential) and radiator/oil cooler covers in the post. With alot more planned

Do you have proof it only had 200 miles when you put a deposit on it, if so - Id take it back and demand they refund you - based on the mileage thats been put on it.
The paperwork you have for the ecu - as long as it doesnt say ecu restriction - ie describes payment for work done to restrict a standard one - then you are right in thinking the standard one is yours.
Go in first thing monday and demand they sort it

Gt's are such a big dealer in the South West they think they can get away with anything. Ive had 2 bikes from them, and both times the aftersales has been non existent.

It does seem that they have broken their agreement
Also contact Suzuki about the ecu
As for the stickers they all do that as it's free advertisement
Chase them up
I'm sure your dad knows whats best

thanks for the support guys but does ne one care to guess where that extra 300 miles was wracked up cos i aint got a clue. Somebody said the might have been letting people test riding it but i put a deposit down before even seeing the biek and when i saw it 200 miles was the nuber of the count!!

Either test rides or a loan bike. If it's either of those it aint a good thing because it'll be thrashed to death more than likely.
I'd kickup sh!t.

There's no way they should have allowed that many miles to be added on, screw 'em for all you can as they seem to be trying to screw you.
When I bought my bike at Bridge, it was brand new and i collected it with 5 miles on the clock after they'd test ridden it. Nothing can reasonably explain yours my man.

think i saw it on the back of the GT's van at the top of plympton!! nice looking machine!!
As for the tax they may have wanted/needed your insurance certificate!!
id go in there and kick up a stink about the mileage, once the deposit is paid then you have made a law binding contract with gt's for that machine how it is!! not with an extra 300 miles.
if there is no sucsess with the monkeys that work there go straight to Mike Granger, and offer to boycot him on southwestbikers!!! i'll help because i dont like it in there anyway!!!

Again thanks everyone but i cant see how the miles could be put on with test rides. Whats the point of letting people ride a bike thats already sold. Also i put money down so therefore it shouldnt be touched by any other punters unless i say. Cheers cbr sam, when u saw it it was filthy and covered in gt stickers grrr, it'll look tons better when im finished. Although the definition of "better" is debatable lol.

BIKE magazine survey gave GT's the worst reader rating in the South West. So dont go THERE. You'll end up disappointed
