Arggh, i've tried searching for a breakers yard to take my R6. So far i found one, plymnouth bike breakers, but they only offered me 600 quid for my bike
I want a grand ish, not too much to ask for a bike that's done 8500 miles, which besides from the frame

is in very good condition.
Anyone know of any bike breakers around plymouth/devon way that i could try??

Put in the effort and sell the good bits on Ebay separately.

The e-bay is a good idea but he may want the £1000 quickly to put a deposit on a new bike.

That was the idea, spoke to Damerells and they will take deposits for the new R6 now. Plus with living in at the naval base i haven't really got the space in my cabin for all the bits.

Try selling the whole thing on ebay, or pick up the yellow pages, either way

I might be wrong mate, but I don't think a breakers would give you that much.
But you could make double that if you split it yourself & eBay the parts

What year is it?
Do bear in mind the expensive bit is a new frame with VIN, and V5, expect to pay £1k for that.

I've rang round a few places now, cheers for the numbers (i'll get you all a cuppa some time next year at jaspers!!).
The best quote was about 650 quid, i know i can get more by breaking it bit by bit and flogging it on ebay so thats what i'm gonna do, i'll also post in the 'For sale' section.
Just got to stop pissing up so much

so i can afford my new bike next year
