It's better to ask a stupid question, than to make a stupid mistake

Darkside=Cruiser or Chopper Rider. Tendency to have a addiction to chrome etc, and villified by the sportsbike crowd

If you chop that XS650, extend rake etc and pay your SWB Membership to Dave, I guess you'd be a "SWB Darkside Member" as well.
:D

 It's not a stupid question
To be part of the Darkside you have to have a strange sense of humour and be insane  But mainly ride a cruiser/chop and don't mind being left behind on rideouts but this gives the power rangers a chance to have a fag while they wait for you
I hope you have written permision to use Jase's avatar
So to round it up if you want to join the Darkside send £1 to all the Darksiders and your in

On the sv650 site I used to frequent darksiders are people who ride in-line 4s, so I guess its a site specific term.

On here you must have a hankering for chrome, loud v-twins, and tassles on your bar ends.

Not necessary V-Twins, I've seen some nice inline 4 chop's, and don't forget the V-Max and Rocket III of course

Oh yes, also frequently seen hanging around the cookie jar

Mot being a Darksider myself but i do understand thier ethos on life. Being a Naked rider (The Bike, not my choice of riding attire) The plastic coated brigade can be unsympathetic on rideouts. Life is fqar better when you are closer to the elements and with beautiful bikes why cover then up!!!!

Help am i turning

I have Triumph Thunderbird, does that make me some kind of closet Darksider? I think it's best I know, if so I should tell my wife before someone else does.

I'd say in that cloudy area known as the "Grey-side", not aligned with any faction.

Rake the front a little, lower the suspension, some tassels and a touch more chrome and maybe...just maybe..you'll be there
