what would people consider the best dealer etc in the region?

i have bought bikes from Damerells and Bridge and the after sales / friendliness was far better with Damerells but they are proper buoys!

never bought a bike from GT as was warned off them by others but i hear their dyno guys are good.

be interested where people think the best tuners/perfomance garage is also as could do with some dyno time.

Ross.

Hi Ross / Everyone.

Having just purchased one from Bridge I would have to say them. I've had 6 to date from them and all have been spot on.

Sales & after sales are excellent, Plus the wife can always get me something I want for Christmas & birthdays from there :-)

As for my other experiences :

V&J - Taunton - Not bad but servicing was crock on my TL1000R - Ran worse after a service :-(
GT - Never again, dodgy bike (Wouldn't run properly and cut out) and they were not interested.
PGH - okay - Friend gets his there with no complaints apart from lack of choice.
SP - Friend got a Blade from there and it was a HPI write off - not interested !!

I've only used torbay motorcycles so far and to be honest didn't think much of the old farts in there especially after sales. The manual was missing from my bike and they said they would get it, after numerous occasions of asking and a bucketload of time they still didn't have it. However my dad went to a boat show and a rep at a honda stall did..at a boat show! So by all means buy from them as I got a good deal...just don't ask them to get anything for you....

Oh yeah they all want your money - But not as bad as some of the car dealers out there!

But without them you would end up buying a privately owned bike serviced by a gibbon.

Imagine a world of home serviced bikes !
