Does anyone know if these are interchangable? I recall hearing somewhere that the SRAD 750 shock was reused in a lot of later models with no changes. All I want to do is put a newer shock in, not due to any problems just the fact it has done almost 24k now.

there is a company in exeter that rebuilds shocks and i'm told he has quite a few race teams bring suspension to him (car/rally/bike). i can find out who and where he is if you like but i have no idea on price. but if price is your first consurn i'd try to find one from the brakers with low milage.

Is it a weight problem then fatty

I think the later ones are shorter.. but I'm willing to be corrected:)

Mind you.. everything can be made to fit.
